The Story
Lisa realized at a very young age that she had an acute ear for that which cannot be spoken and a clear vision on things that cannot be seen. Growing up in a silently stoic household she learned to navigate through all the waves of human emotion and communicate on a cellular level. She could easily see how everything was carried in the body, and how the body worked so hard and intricately to make its way back to homeostasis. Its because of her curiosity of the human body and its miracles that she knew she wanted to be instrumental in helping people on their own journey of healing. She had a keen sense for seeing what people were feeling and a talent for guiding them back into balance and into a place where they felt renewed and inspired. This led her to massage school in 2002, where she fell in love, with the magic and power of self healing, and her own journey through the layers, the joy and the struggles. From then on she has dedicated her life practice to creative holistic health and well being. From the inside out she strives to be nothing more than a guide and a muse for people to find healing within themselves. Lisa firmly believes that expression is the key ingredient to a vibrant healthy life and works steadily to find in each of her clients the place where they feel inspired to express themselves from any medium. Inspiration means breath and breath is life. Lisa has studied a wealth of modalities and has over 1200 hours of training. She tailors her session to her clients individual needs on any given day. Her signature massage consists mostly of Deep Tissue, Neuro-muscular Therapies, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Energy Medicine, Swedish, Acu-pressure, Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, Dynamic Stretching, Pre and Post Natal. She has been known to invoke visions of grandeur, life changing career ideas, a belief that all is beautiful and in its right place, an ease and light heartedness, and a deep sense of calm and love within one self. Lisa spends her free time in yoga class, on a meditation pillow, learning from loved ones, dancing, singing, writing poetry, processing, cooking healthy meals, reading endlessly, and listening to music. She brings all of these arts into her bodywork practice and feels she gains just as much from the sessions as her clients do.
